Frontier Ranch + Mocha Club= Bliss
Katie here. I’ve spent the last week and (almost) a half at one of the greatest places on earth, Frontier Ranch.
Frontier is a Young Life property literally on the side of Mt. Princeton, one of only a few 14ers in Colorado…and we got to climb to one of the false peaks on Thursday! I’m still in recovery. I am NOT what I used to be. :)

A couple of weeks ago the interns got a true taste of Music City at the Mercy Lounge downtown. The Civil Wars opened up for Cadillac Sky, who is a Mocha Club artist. The Civil Wars is made up of Joy Williams and John Paul White—one of their songs, “Poison and Wine,” was featured on Grey’s Anatomy and you can download their live album for free off their myspace.

The past couple days at Mocha Club we have been doing some research on different Universities and what kind of events and student organizations they have. We are hoping to introduce Mocha Club on more campuses and get more students involved.

My MC Story -- Mary Catherine
On a scorching day in April in the middle of 600 college students on Legion Field at The University of Georgia, I first heard about Mocha Club. My longtime best friend and I drove 84.44 miles to see our latest obsession, Matt Wertz, perform in Athens, GA. Little did I know, that one MC plug would begin weaving my heart for Africa.
Fast forward 4 years and countless Matt Wertz & Dave Barnes...

Hailing from Indiana, Georgia, Texas, Virginia and right around the office corner in Brentwood, Tennessee, the five of us interns descended on the Mocha Club offices in mid-May and linked arms for an unbelievable summer. Strangers with the same heart – to see and be change in Africa.
