On New Obsessions: Flags and Musicians

Dear Numerous Faithful Blog Followers,

Well, this week (or rather, this Fun Day Friday), our team is a little sparse.  Kelsey has left us for Bonnaroo, but we have excused her due to her role as “Artist Relations Mochatern”…seems appropriate.  The lovely Study-Abroad’ing Chelsea has still not arrived.  And so it is just yours truly, Tay Tay, and Tabz in the office today.

We have recently been introduced to the idea of flag-masts here at Mocha Club in order to describe our level of concentration.  Here’s the breakdown:

Full-Mast- These individuals have “Do not come near me or I will be unproductive for another full hour” ferociously stamped on their foreheads.

Half-Mast- “Eh, it could swing both ways.  I’m in a rhythm, but we can chat about work-related things”

Low-Mast: “Oh, is it already our tri-hourly Parachute You-Tube video session-watching time again?” ******http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXqYw_II6Pc*******

Which leads us to our (MY) second obsession, Parachute.  You guys REALLY need to check out (literally) this band.  They are good.  REALLY good.  Whether you want to jam out, or be lulled to sleep, Parachute is for you.  And they love Africa.  So what’s NOT to love?  That’s what we think.  And this is our blog, so that’s all that matters, right?

With love and flags and drumsticks,
